Hello everyone, I'm posting this to warn all of you against the sad Beta Bank. I met him in a chat room, told him I had lost everything I owned recently (a retriever) after working very hard for it, and since he kept on boasting about his ISK pile I asked if I maybe could have spare change for a restart. He did not want to give it to me, which is fine of course he is not obliged to it.
Later however he told me he felt sad about my loss, and said that whatever I had left ; he would double it. I would not have done this if he was alone in the chat, scammers are everywhere I know. But alot of people in the chat supported him, saying he was rich and trustworthy, so I felt he was. He however, was not. He stole everything I had left, everything, and to top it off he had put this bounty on me. Not only did he stole everything I had left, he also made my career impossible due to this bounty.
I hope you people will never trust this person who calls himself Beta Bank or his friends anymore, they're all very sad, and push me forward to quit this game.

Thank you for the replies, I know it was too good to be true, but (nearly?) everyone in the chat supported him so I thought he couldn't be a random stranger.

Look at his bio ; He took pride in my loss. Also I'm sure that if you would ask him the devil wouldn't even deny it. Much more proof I don't have sadly.. |

Don't worry about the playing, I love this game.. I was just very mad & sad about my loss. and the way he scammed me in particular. |

If any of you took the time to PM me and ask me how I'd lost it, I would've told you how. I will now too anyway, although I'm a bit ashamed to talk about it. I lost it on a scam contract at Jita, the very first time I came there. I learned alot from it though, never going to visit Jita agai untill more experienced and won't take any contracts with high amounts of money. I was pissed of course, but not so much pissed as from the scam from BB, since he simply ignored me after instead of insulting me over and over.
Hope I didn't stop you from hating him though.. By all means, keep on going..  |

Damn, even got kicked from my Corp now because of my high bounty... The sad Haralian Oren wouldn't even see to my answer HOW I got this bounty, and blocked me.... |

Joran I never said I was good or something so it's pretty obvious this thread makes me look bad, don't think I dont know. I'm just warning the community here. And as for the first rule of EVE, well, I did not break it since I did not went into any dangerous zones, except for Jita being full of scammers maybe.
And like I said I only trusted him because nearly the whole chat supported him.. I know there are lots of scammers, but didn't know this many random players would join together to punish a noob.
And about the corp part lol, you made me laugh. |

Oh I learned alot since this happened trust me, talked with alot of people about my problems. Thanks for your input though I will use it. |
